I have completed my medical test on 01/09/2012 and submitted PP and RPRF in first week of Sept 2012.
Medical has been received status updated on 14/09/2012 but after that nothing is updated till date.
It takes about 5 hrs for all d tests. So spare this much time for a tension-free med test. Make sure you eat something an go for the tests. You would not get time to eat something running from pillar to post. Here are the steps:
1. U r asked ti fill in a small form
2. They call u for:
Ur original passport
Photographs
CIC letter and
Copies of ur passport
3. U r given another form to fill and trust me u wud gt tired writing ur name and date if vith here
4. U r also asked to pay INR 3200 per person.
5. They send u for 3 chk ups now
Blood n urine test
Chest X-Ray
BP, height n wgt, and eye sight
6. Finally the doctor examines u one on one. He would ask you if you have any BP/Sugar problem or if you have had any operation in the past. It just takes about 5 min. with the doctor.
7. Getting examined by the doctor is the last step. If there is any issue, he would recommend some more test. No test/s after meeting the doctor indicates all is well
8. They would give you the receipt of the payment made at the end of all the tests. The receipt would also have a brief description of the remarks by the doctor. The would then ask you to get the photocopy of the first page of the forms done. You need to keep that copy as a proof that you have done the medicals. The nurse mentioned that we would need that paper at the time of Visa. So keep that copy in a safe place.
Waiting for PCC now. Will do it next week. Will be glad if someone can post the difficulties/challenges faced while applying for a PCC.

Me too. Completed original medicals on 12-JUL-2012. Re-medicals for PA alone completed 30-OCT-2012. Waiting for PP. Any advise when should I receive my PP ????
Meanwhile, I received another medical request on 08-NOV-2012. Just wondering why another medicals within 5 months ???? Any similar cases ????
See my time line as well. Its been 4months. I think NDVO hasnt started issuing Visas as yet, I have be very active member, what i have observed so far is ppl r getting MRs but not 1 single NDVO application posted about getting visa in last 2-3months.
Please advice if I am wrong.
