New Delhi - Need help with Spouse sponsorship - Please respond

Friends,

I'm from India, I recently became PR under CEC.

My girlfriend lives in India and our marriage will happen next year mid. Meanwhile, I am going to India for our engagement in a month and we are looking to do our court marriage along with the engagement as I can start the PR process for her in parallel. Is it acceptable by CIC and NDVO to sponsor spouse PR with only court marriage certificate (without traditional marriage proof)? I know CIC looks for wedding photographs which I would not be having. Would this be a concern?

Yes it could be a concern. I understand the ND visa office puts lots of emphasis into the wedding and that all customs were followed, so not having any pics or a real wedding could cause visa officer to doubt the relationship.
