For all those who have got their passports back from NDVO with visa stamped, how long did it take to get it back?
My wife submitted the passport on December 29,2017, I want to book her flight tickets for Feb. 1, 2018. Do you guys think, this would be a sufficient margin?

As an average , they take 2 weeks to get stamp and deliver it to your address. You can book a ticket and I think you will be safe. However, it's good to wait till you get the passport delivered.

Some April applicants have got DM and/or PPR last month. Few May applicants have got an interview call in January. So, knowing the process of which files they are working currently is bit difficult.

I have the same situation. Out of like 4 - 5 emails I sent they only responded to 2 of my email. I am a march 27 applicant and even my bgc has not started yet too. Dont know what kind of sequence they are following.
God only knows when our files going to get a decision and we will be able to bring our partners to Canada. So disappointed. Seriously someone needs to set them straight for doing this to us.

that looks like a sufficient one, however the only thing we know about NDVO is that it's completely unpredictable.

Go to ecas,
choose by UCI
enter your UCI, Last name, DOB and Country of Birth

next page, where your address appears, edit it to a new one.

Option 2

Call CIC helpline and change you address over phone

Option 3

Change by a web form.

chances of visa rejection are very high, however if your profile is neat and forms are clear enough that u could still get it.

I would still suggest to wait apart a bit rather than having rejection on profile. (in future u would definitely apply for his/her US visitor visa where they ask about rejection from other countries and besides that Canada shares it data with US)

This wait is becoming unbearable; it's going to be 3 months since our BGC went into process on January.10; April Applicants who had interviews already got DM and PPR; May Applicants have interview dates lined up in January.

What are they doing with our files? I ordered notes on Nov.8; Due date was Dec. 8; I still didn't get them. NDVO/CIC is really pissing me off.

hey khyati ... you should email NDVO once if you haven't got medical request yet. That's what we did when we didn't get ask for medical for 6 months and then they sent the medical request and also stated that they had already asked for medical but we didn't get that info, probably bcuz of our representative's negligence.
So email them and see .. Good luck
