Hi Guys,

I have received my GCMS notes and it says Paper File Transfer History it says that it's in Registry. Does that mean they are doing background checks?
Criminality and Security have not been started yet and medical and eligibility have been passed. Please answer!!!

we r in same boat...same Is written in gcms notes...did u receive remedical request ?

Yes...we got our re-medical in February after finding out that they had apparently send a re-medical request in December . We never received an e-mail from NDVO regarding the re-medical and after contacting my MP, sending numerous specific enquiries and e-mail we finally received the re-medical request.

Contact you're MP and also apply for notes (thats how I found out about the re-medical request that was apparently sent to us)

Yes, The file is moving. As I suggested, they are surely moving with the file. Going with the trend, you should have some communications on last of march or early april. Hopefully decision made for you. Since you don't have your interviews, you are surely next in line after October

apparently means it is in 'storage room' ..likely reason doing background or security checks

It means the file is now not opened by anyone. They may be waiting for some documents or they just put hold on the file and put it in a queue.

Hi guys....just wanted to update my file is also interview reccomended found through gcms notes. Did mp enquiry last week have not heard anything yet. Applied on dec 4th 2014

I came to know of another case where we keep getting F*kd over...

Guy was here on student visa, was going to get his PR in February, goes to India and registers for his marriage (lawyer told him) in January and puts his wife's name in the PR application...and guess what

in february, him and his wife both get PR! and she is already here in March!!! i mean WTF kind of laws are these?????????? im raging with anger at the moment

Wow, that's strange and outrageous for sure. And we are here where the files are kept in registry for half a year without reasons. My note suggests everything was fine until September 2015. And then, suddenly the process stopped, in the registry and nothing. But I am very sure that they are at least opening files now. And your file should be opened now. Since when is your file in the registry?

end of november 2015. who knows wtf they are doing in NDVO.. we seriously need media attention regarding this issue..
