NOT EXACTLY! i know an applicant of april 2012 he aso got 2 year temporary visa. its for every applicant now. No matter when have u applied.

Update: as mentioned when I filed the application I used the services of an immigration consultant (primarily because I didn't know such an amazing support community existed) so I have notified him of the post interview and re-medical developments and he has taken upon himself to send the update to NDVO. I am "okay" with this because he would know exactly who to send it to - as opposed to me sending it to their generic e-mail address and waiting for an acknowledgement.

BUT thanks for the fax suggestion - I will ask him to do that as well (hopefully he actually does it and doesn't just verbally say he will).

Anyways, I've paid the consultant anyways so if he is willing to do the work and help me update NDVO I am not going to refuse it.

You are forgetting the most important thing...our best wishes!

I think you've got it covered (not sure if you have already included in proofs but your marriage album/extra wedding photographs of the ceremonies, etc.) - most importantly have everything organized (I posted some stuff about that a day or two ago...)

I had my wife take both the wedding album and many loose photographs.

Think of it this way - yes, it's a bit of a hassle to travel with additional documents/proofs, but in comparison to what's at stake - the little hassle is nothing. Also, it's only going to helpful to you during the interview.

Nothing is a hassle for me lol I can bring a shit load of proofs that they might even get sick of us haha..I will just bring my wedding album....Thanks alot !!

No It is NOT true. Only applicants after Oct 25,2013 have a condition. All earlier applicant would be granted PR Visa as it was. Please don't spread rumor.

after a week i got letter to go for medical then aft 2 weeks got letter to go for fingerprints, now it been 3 weeks no update.

Anyways,

We sent more then 100 photos with our application..MY partner is still going with more then $200 photos because we travel together so much.. We have western union receipts, wechat Video call photos, SKype, Call history, Gift receipts you name it...

Just try to collect as much proofs as you can..Thanks for the best wishes..

I got my gcms notes last month. They said we performed our marriage in Muslim. I think thats how everything got mixed up. Obviously someone didnt read the whole application . WE are both bhuddhist and we performed in Bhuddhist way so, we have lots of photos..No worries...
I am just taking it easy and We will explain everything during interview...

O DAMN that's such a blunder from their part...so damn disorganised ...when we fill up the application with so much of pain they don't even use 1% of their brain to read the correct information yes do explain to them im sure they wld realise their mistake and in no time u will get your visa good luck dear
