My wife got the registered post delivery at around 2:00 PM in the afternoon. I think the date of shipment was 12th September. She's living in Bangalore, if that's any information.

We have sent our application to CIC for processing on 9th july , 2012 . Till now we have not received any kind of acknowledgement from them .
I wanna know if anybody with the same timeline has got some kindoff acknowledgement or sponsorship approval for the application lately.

I can see aug applicants getting sponsorship approvals and july applicants are still waiting ....plz reply

I had checked the link which you have given , it says working on 4th july , but I can see the spreadsheet with applicants who sent there files on 1st aug or 8th aug getting sponsorship approvals around 10 days back , so I was a bit worried . ???

But waiting is the only option here I guess ..

They are lying according to me.How can August applications get approval when the CIC website showing July 4th...Also assessment of sponsor time limit is 70 days as of last week and how come if applied in august, one is getting approval in september...NO WAY...

does any body know whats the procedure to request your passport back from delhi office as they have my passport since feb and they not even replying my emails and my mla told me that she can contact them unless the application is within the processing times any help would be great please help me guys

Hey manpreet,
You can send NDVO an email with subject as "urgent passport return request" and mention in your email why you want your passport back.
That's what I did when I requested my passport back and same day I sent email I got response back from NDVO an after they have now requested my passport back on final stage.

Hi Arjun3,

When you login to E-CAS using the applicant's File Number or Client ID, you will find a "CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS" - This will be the complete address in India. Right next to it, you may find the "HOME ADDRESS", which has a partial address in Canada (only city and province). If this is not being shown in your case, maybe they still are working on it- or maybe its not finalized yet. But I'm sure you will find a change here as your timeline is very close to mine. Keep watching this space! Good luck

You can use below link for case specific enquiry. It takes around 30 days in general to see a response if they feel you have a valid question. Sometimes, we won't even get a response.
