Hi dear I am also a march aplicant .... Yes it is second marriage case as well my hubby has travel history. First time he went to England in 2003 on visitor visa and he use to go every year on his summers vocations... Well he was off from school ... And in 2009 he went for 2 years and he came back before our wedding... He is the applicant and I am the sponsor... His is first marriage and mime is second....... On 09/30/2012 ... They have asked us for extra douments..... Since than no movement.... I hope we hear some thing more from them..



a quick question for all the February and March aplicant and may be early April......
So all of us that are waiting to hear from ND...I think my husband has travel history for two years England thats why his process is going to take little longer than others. I have included a PCC from UK as well....
Would other people from FEB and MARCH that are waiting will like to share their experience????? like second marriage, or travel history or any document that was requested at a later date or phone interview???
May be we can reach a conclusion as of why are we waiting longer than normal time?[/color][/size][/font]

my husband got PPR on sept 1st...now he need to send his passport but he heard frm som1 th he need to change his passport coz passport have to have wife's name and pic on it... ...is this true?????

just want to share my experience wid u. i went for my honeymoon and d immigration officer at airport told me to include in spouse's name in d passport otherwise next time they 'll not give us entry. Hope this will help u.....

Is this required or marriage certificate is enough?

its not mandatory to ad the spouse name .. one of my friend got it without adding spouse name .. so don worry ..

Adding spouse name in passport is not mandatory as such but if u get it done it adds one more proof of marriage in your documents

omg we are really confuse should we cahnge it or just send it the way it is...

Hi waheguruji - my husband is the sponser - canadian citizen. I am the applicant. We decided not to change anything or add his name on my passport. We submitted everything as it is without changes becuz we were afraid that getting the new passport with husband's name added would delay the process - since we all know how looongg the passport offices take to work here.

Also one of my friends - who's husband was the sponser - they had made the choice of adding husband name to her passport and changing her last name to her husband's - well the passport office here took 3 months to issue her the new changed / updated passport and thts how her paper work got delayed.

So hope these two scenarios help you make a better decision. These are my own personal experiences from the Kolkata Passport Office - I dont know where in India you are though.
