hey guys, within how many days we need to send passport to ND after getting the PPR?

There is no such deadline but you hv to send it ASAP.

Min. it takes 2 weeks and Max. 4 weeks.

are they going by the AOR date or the Application received date or the PPR date?

I would assume it's based on when the application is received by the office in ND and when it was filed, and not the ppr. Some people are asked at the beginning, and others not for the ppr. Judging by the spreadsheets, it seems they're processing applications filed from the end of March/ early April now. Sometimes it seems they jump around though!

My COPR has embossed sentence which says Documents not valid for travel. Please tell me what is it mean by? Or all are getting COPR with that sentence.

I would say it means you cannot travel as a Canadian PR with that document. You will need to bring your PR card if you leave Canada.

It means you cannot leave Canada and enter Canada without your PR Card.That COPR is no more a valid travel document once you enter Canada and if you want to leave Canada for any reason make sure you have your PR card with you...

COPR can be used only once to enter Canada, further we need PR card or if we dnt get pr or have pr card then we need to apply for a travel document from the country we are going to. I got this information from CIC when i had to travel back to India without my PR card.

Thanks Ashu..but i dont understand why they want to check work history as we applied under family class. and we dont need any point from our work history then why???..

its because of security reasons, they need to confirm that applicant has no criminal history and had no connections with political or other organisations/Groups
