my ECAS shows since 2 Aug 2012..

We received xxxx application for permanent residence on February 16, 2012.

We started processing xxxx application on August 2, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

PPR-13 aug 2012
my relationship is genuine but its second marriage case....
we provide each and every document nd evidence to CIC that proves our relationship......

so wat u guys think, wat may happen...how long it will take to get DM....
my wife is sponsor lives in canada nd me in punjab (india)
plz plz help me frinds......

Even I am in the same situation, my application was filed on February 23rd and till now it Ecas says application and medical received. Making me so worried I contacted new Delhi and they said its in early reviewing stage, I don't understand what is this early review stage and if this means my BC and SC has been done already or still pending.
Please help me Friends I'll really appreciate that.

no we didnt inform CHC regarding our plans to return but Visa officer told us that you will be able to move to canada soon and you can move any time before your medical expires (21st Nov) and we are planning to fly in end of oct.,
in your case, if his visa is valid until november, he can wait here otherwise he can land now and wait for PR card. in case he doesnt get his PR card before nov, he can visit India without card and you can mail his PR card later to India.

nothing to worry it all depends on clarity of ur application and travelling history...do u hv one ? so be calm and composed u will surely get ur chance ...... hv they asked for any additional documents ? if yes then it will take some time.... no need to compare wid other nowadays CHC is looking into each and every matter very carefully so hopefully u will get urs very soon ........good luck

No they have not requested any document neither called for interview.
Yes I've stayed in Canada for 4 years as student and this is our live marriage. We had 2 years relationship before marriage and so photographs and phone lists before wedding has been sent as proof as well.
God knows when will my turn come.
Please god help us all and ndvo please give visas to all of us ASAP

Do with our files, I also received a phone and got interviewed
On 27th aug but no change after that intact I m also confused
What they r going to do with my file, hope we both get DM this

as aditya said, it depends on your application and supporting docs provided with application.
you need to contact your MP regarding status of your application. you need to get info about eligibility and background/security checks. as you know, they have a straight and simple way of processing.
after file transfer they send PPR and review your application to pass eligibility checks. if they have any doubts about relationship, they request additional docs or interview. after eligibility checks, they update your ecas to "in process" and start BC/SC (it takes only few days, if you have no travel or work history). BC/and SC took only 2-3 days for me and i have 1.2 years travel history and 1 year work history.
in your case it looks like, they are still working on eligibility checks :-X contact you MP and let us know
