I have a question in my file I did nt send any reference letter from relatives. We filed our documents according to check list on cic.gc.ca nothing was mentioned for reference letters it will affect my processing?

Thanks everyone.. total of 7 months exactly! This weekend was busy for ND.. if they keep up this speed, ND can decrease processing times back to avg 6 months. Good luck to everyone else!!

Ashunandal, did you have to inform chc that your wife wasn't traveling to Canada right away? My husbands cousin is getting married early Nov, I was already planning to go since we didn't think he was getting his visa anytime soon. So now we're debating to wait til Nov or taking the chances of him coming now and waiting for PR card to go back in Nov, but timeline wise its cutting it close so prob won't go.. need at least 55-60 days for PR card.

Does anyone know if you can request PR cards faster or a travel visa if we go back?

no we didnt inform CHC regarding our plans to return but Visa officer told us that you will be able to move to canada soon and you can move any time before your medical expires (21st Nov) and we are planning to fly in end of oct.,
in your case, if his visa is valid until november, he can wait here otherwise he can land now and wait for PR card. in case he doesnt get his PR card before nov, he can visit India without card and you can mail his PR card later to India.

How long can it takes to bc to get done in India? I know that they give this to 3rd party agency.
No travel history. But she works for central government, we have submitted NOC (no objection certificate). It had been over 2 months in process. Medicals set to expire in exactly 32 days. My MP stating still doing background check?

I am a february applicant and still am waiting for my visa (under spousal category)
I see that even march applicants have started receiveing their passports back which is make me more worried.
last time i heard from NDVO was on june 19th for passport request after that heard nothing from them.
I tried to take help from MP but he rejected to help and sent emails to new delhi to which ofcourse there was or reply.
anyone can suggest me what should I do as i am really panicking now.
