Corneliu Chisu, Conservative Party.. East Scarborough Rididng. I emailed him in July, his assistant emailed me back and said I have to wait 6-8 months from May, when my file was transferred to ND.

I had the same answer from my MP. On Friday I called and left a voice message as well. On Monday i got calls from 2 different people but both told me to call them after Nov-Dec. These people just don't want to work...

Passport Received Today....Visa was issued on Aug/22/2012... Flying on Saturday...I wish everyone gets their visa soon...Good Luck

hi everyone!
i know someone in Vancouver, she filed her application to sponsor her husband on July 14,2012
and her application was transferred to ND today. So that's just less than a month and half to transfer her file.

she lives in Vancouver, does that make any difference in the speed of the process?

and another question: do all applications get sent to CIC Mississauga from all over Canada?

We received your application for permanent residence on March 19, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 28, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I think as I had visitor visa also which was valid till Jan 2013 helped in speedy process... Wish u all the very best. All Mar applicants be ready; maximum will get DM by sat/sun
