New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hi guys,

went thru all the threads and didn't see a thread for all the New Delhi VO applicant thread.

I recently got Sponsor approval on 25th June 2012 and now waiting for passport request from new delhi

on average , it takes anywhere from 15 days to 30 days to get passport request after the file reaches new delhi ..

my ecas is now updated to "Medical received"

My application was received by CIC-M on March 01, 2012. I too recently got sponsorship approval on June 25, 2012 by mail.
Ecas updated to "Medical Received". Waiting for passport request from New Delhi.

correct me if i am wrong ...

i think "medical received" means New Delhi looked at the file and then they updated it ? or did cic- mississuga update that info ?

I believe CIC-M updates that Medical Received info as we send the medicals along with our application.
At this point New delhi doesn't even have our file yet. Hopefully it will be transferred soon

Can we start this thread for 2012 applicants as the other thread is from 2010. I am not sure if someone is willing to make a new spreadsheet for 2012 applicants for New Delhi VO but that will be great if that happens.

Still cannot log into ecas it shows my citizenship application details and not the sponsorship for my husband......
Lets start this thread only for 2012 applicants and we can get a better idea for the 2012 timeline as the time has changed from 6 to 8 months for ND........

It took 2 days to see my details on Ecas. CIC doesn't update Ecas right away...Give it couple of days to reflect...
All 2012 applicant, please update your status on this thread... This will keep us motivated..

First of all, Thanks for starting this thread. Much needed!

My timeline:

App. Filed.......: Feb 24, 2012
File Transfer...: May 23, 2012
Med's Done....: Jan 25 2012

Today is June 28, 2012. Well, over a month since my file got transferred to ND but nothing heard back or no PPR. Like someone said at the top, it appears the average is less than month to receive PPR but not in my case.

Also, under ecas it says "Application Received" and under that it says "Medicals received" since the day I got the approval. It used to say "In Process" for sponsorship and two weeks after I got the approval it changed to "Decision Made".

Anyone else in a similar situation who have not received PPR after a month?!?!

Hi, my timelines:
App submitted Feb 2nd/ Rec'd Feb 3rd
Approval May 2nd
PPR: June 11
Passport Rec'd by ND: June 14

E-cas just says application rec'd since I was approved as a sponsor, no changes or updates since then. It took my husband just under 6 weeks to get PPR.
