Yes dear... its hard to be away... n yes mine is a straight forward case... no travel history n my wifes a canadian citizen.... all proofs submitted.... simple n straight case... what about You??

Yess Rahul most of us have the status ``frustation made`` n if NDVO be sooo slow it will soon be updated to ``Anger Made`` and finally ``Rebellions Made``.. :P

Sometimes its seriously like "frustration made" :( :(

Its my first karwa chauth and we planned many things for this day but we would not be together on my this day. I wish I can be with him, and my family on our first Diwali :( :( :(

this is really very sad...we all see many special days ..times...coming and going but we are not together with our loved ones...

I received an additional document request asking for post marriage communication proof including email/skype chat logs on 08/20 and we submitted everything on 8/27( we were given a month time for submission) … I have not heard back anything after that :(… Have anyone among you been in same situation. Can someone help me know how long does it usually take for processing if they ask for additional docs?

My passport is with them from July 1st and I have travel plans for US .. IS there a way I can call them and get my passport back? or check status on phone

It takes around 1-2 months after additional docs request maximum as per the experience of other members.
You should not ask them your passport now coz it will be in a final stage to issue visa anytime.
And they take time for reviewing every document we send.
