QUCK QUESTION PEOPLE
I got DM for my wife on 7th September 2012 . Does anyone know how long it takes to reach the passport from New Delhi because my wife lives in Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh? Today will be almost 6 working days excluding the weekends.. Im not sure if ND use the local Post or BlueDart
.

I think you should wait for 7- 10 working days as some forum members are getting in that time frame. you might want to check with your local post office to see if it is lying there. also they send it through registered mail .

Hello Everyone,
I have a question, When we log into my spouses ECAS , it shows her Address in India and a partial address for Toronto.
Other than that we don’t see “In Process” anywhere but on the ECAS page it sill shows “Application Received”.
Is this the normal process?
Please answer.

I have a question guys,


As we did not get my wife's last name changed on her passport because we did not want to delay the whole process of applying, but we want her last name changed after she lands here.
I understand that Immigration will just send the PR card with the information they collect from passport and immigration documents at the time of landing so what is the process of changing her last name on her PR card and to have changed last name on all her IDs and canadian issued documents thereafter?
I just want to get it right the first time not going back to everyone after couple months to get her last name changed. Please share your experience and suggesstions.
