Yeah I called them back... But the operative said she cannot help me patch up that call , when I asked will they call me again , she said yeah if it was missed they may but she is not sure ... Didn't this happen with anyone else? Should I notify them through email?

Hi Awse.... I was getting back to your question...Just too many things on my plate right now.... First time I got called from CIC was to submit my wife's passport.... My wife missed another call from a delhi number, which she thought was from CIC....but after confirming from this forum I found out that the number was not from CIC..... So its was all good..... After that my file went to in process on sep 7.....nothing since then....

I wouldn't worry too much about the call.... All you can do it just ask the sponsored person to watch out for phone and keep the phone with them..... If it's really important, CIC will call again..... Recently many people got called from CIC around end of Aug, I think... some were phone interviewd and some jut got asked verification questions.... Not sure what the purpose of your call could be.....

Just make sure u don't miss any further calls from CIC....always keep the phone with you from atleast 8 am - 6 pm.... Don't worry u will be fine....U also don't need to notify CIC about this.....

I would check with post office first of all....and if you don't receive it by end of the week, contact your MP and ask him to look into this!

Sponsor has to contact the local MP and ask him to make an enquiry from CIC ND on Sponsor's behalf.

Hai Ashu.... I am new to this forum..... actually we did a mistake while filling the application form for spousal sponsorship.... we did not mention that we have applied for tourist visa. today only we noticed and also sent e-mail and fax to the New Delhi visa office..... But myself and my wife are very much worried that what will happen.... please Ashu reply....

sorry for late reply, there are some other members in similar situation and they sent that form again to ND VO by email/case specific enquiry/fax and courier. i think you should do same thing and you will be fine

Thats ok ...Thanks Ashu... my lawyer had sent the mail and fax regarding that and also he got the reply from NDVO that they have forwarded the mail to the concerned section and also said that they will contact me (applicant) if required in future....

is that a good sign Ashu? will this delay the process Ashu?

also today i sent a letter and fax to NDVO... will that be ok?

There is one applicant lalatata he is no page no. 74 of this thread he got his passport after 21 days u can ask him hope it ll help u
