Hey Rahulcd, congrats on the PPR. Thats good going

We got our approval on Aug 13th, but we are still awaiting the PPR. It will be 30 days today. I am getting really concerned here. Is there anyone who has got PPR this late. Should I be concerned about our application? I have seen from the forum that the average time to get PPR is around 20days. All this time I was under the impression that my case was straight forward (first marriage, no travel history etc) but this really gets me worried. Also, our approval came from Ottawa. wonder if that has any role to play here.

hey dont worry its ok if you havent got your ppr till now...i got my ppr almost after 2 months...ppr is system generated and most of the times it doesnt affect the processing of the file...so relax

My wife received her passport back today (Sept 11 2012) with a visa (dated Sept 5 2012) and COPR. Please update spreadsheet. Hopefully she can finally join me next month after a long wait.

I dnt think we need to do this and i have not seen any information as of now regarding this or else when they ask for passport if it is so than they will ask to do that first before sending passport. this is just what i think.

Thats weird Pinder, is your case strait-forward?
i only sent 15 pictures and my process went thru normally....may be they are not satisfied with the pictures...make sure send the important pictures as in FAMILY/RING EXCHANGE/RITUALS AND ALL..hope that helps...

Can you tell me address of New delhi? bz in my pp request, there is po box number mention and i check delhi website they dont mention po box number

also , when we send passport to delhi, should we registered it ? or just we send by tracking number

Normally , You can add PO Box number, there is no issue in that.
I send it with PO Box number and got delivered successfully.
We need to keep track with courier company in order to check whether PP is delivered or not..
Almost many people send through Blue Dart.Its safe and secured...

Thanks for answer. Also , did you write down on envelop anything? for example your file number or something else....bz i heard that on the envelop we have to write down our name, file number...etc

Yes i did wrote my UCI number and Application Number in the envelope and at the back side of envelope , wrote my name , address ...

means you wrote down on blue dart company's envelope or you buy your own and write down and then top of your cover you add blue dart cover...


also can we send by signature or stamp required request
