Hello all,
My long journey of almost over 10 years was over yesterday! I took oath and became a Canadian citizen yesterday at Stoney Creek City Center in a beautifully organized special ceremony hosted by RCMP.
I joined this forum around the time I received the interview letter, I thank all the forum members for sharing their stories, it was very helpful during the past few months....

I applied for PR in Jan 2007, received PR in Apr 2010, landed in Nov 2010, moved to Canada in Jun 2012, could not apply for citizenship in 2015 because of the RO changes, applied for citizenship in Nov 2016, Attended interview in Mar 2017, took oath in May 2017! Nearly ten years in all....

Where are you originally from? Have you actualy noticed the difference in treatment using you new passport?

US side: I did not perceive any difference in treatment
My experience on Canadian side so far:
With Canadian passport-Professional behavior, asking only routine questions
As PR with PR Card-Professional behavior, asking only routine questions
As PR without PR card-A bit aggressive
Entering Canada with a relative on visitor visa-Very aggressive...
