I started my application in Mar and Received PPR request on Nov 01
I got married in Apr and sent an email to change status somewhere in September...CPP-O asked to send all required forms with certificate.
I have few questions:
1. I am waiting for PCC and FBI for my spouse. I have rest of the documents ready for my Spouse. Should I proceed with sending her documents to CPP-O
2. Do I need to send $550 Fee now or it will be sent to Detroit when her AOR is received.
3. Do I need to notify Detroit office that I am holding my Passport request and would send later once my spouse is added in my application and what is the way to notify them
1. Look at the CEC checklist - they recommend sending police clearance certificates with the application but if you are unable to, you can send all other documents and a letter indicating you will be forwarding the clearance(s) when you receive it.
2. $550 is the application fee and must be sent with the documents - read the CEC guide and checklist.
3. You can inform them... they know you are now married.
Why did you wait 5 months to inform CIC you were married? You would have saved yourself 5 months, had you notified them in April - may be both of you would have been receiving your passport request now.
