I needed some information on Adding Spouse to the Application from seniors or whoever has experience with this. I emailed CPP-O and they sent me list of documents I need to add him on file.
I have little tricky situation, so not sure what to put in the forms.
Me and my husband got married in January 2013. My now husband (then Boyfriend) came to Canada in August 2012 on Student Visa. But due to personal reasons he had to withdraw from university in January. As he withdrew from his studies, his study permit automatically expires in April and hence he will be returning back home.
Few questions based on the situation,
Q1: So in the spousal application forms, should he be stated as 'Student' or something else in his 'Immigration Status'?
Q2: Since he is going back next month (ofcourse after submitting spousal application), should I put the Canadian Address (ie my address) or Indian Address on his file?
Q3: Should I send a separate letter explaining why he withdrew from university and why he is going back home or its not necessary because he is accompanying dependent?
Q4: Does anyone know how the medicals work for a Spouse who are in the home country (i.e. not in Canada)?
