I would recommend you to take additional training to better prepare for IELTS format, as there is absolutely no time to improve your skills or upgrade your degree. Under which NOC code are you going to apply? If it is "hot" and popular, caps will most likely be reached pretty soon. So hurry up and have a good luck.
P.S. You can also gain 5 extra points for your spouse's IELTS.
P.P.S. All the information needed for above calculations can be found with ease at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp
Thanks Roman. I appreciate your help.
I am pursuing my wife to prepare for IELTS. Her test date is 6th September. The band requirement for my wife doesn't seem to be difficult.
