Need information regarding newly open USD account for proof of funds

Hi,
I just received ITA, i have quick question. I'm going to receive funds from my father as gift and i just opened a USD account in which i will receive the funds and will use as POF. My question is how i will show 6 months bank statement as I just opened a bank account. I can get the letter from bank and current statement only. Please guide me

You can’t show POF for 6 months if you have only recently been gifted the money

So you mean I don't need to show 6 months statement as long as I'm using gift deed? I heard we can get funds from our parents as gift.
