But it looks like we can’t go common law as we haven’t got proof we lived together for a year, and we are now unable to live together for a year because there is no visas available! I’m looking into express entry too to see, thank you!!

You certainly have options to live together. Your partner can easily come here and extend her stay as a visitor to become common-law or vice versa.
Yes that’s a last resort type option. We would both like to work while here. Has anyone had any luck hiring an immigration expert?

Hiring an immigration expert is not going to change anything about your situation.
Just thought they may know of a visa or something. A loop hole, or a diffrent way to apply for her to stay and work

Hey man, I truly am sorry that you're in this situation. I completely understand your reasoning for not considering marriage just yet. It's a big freaking deal, after all.
I would definitely consider either:
- Proving you're in a "common-law" marriage,
- Applying for her visitor visa and extending it in order to get more concrete proof of common-law,
- Getting her to study in Canada, get a PGWP, etc., OR
- Finding a job for her here.
I'm not an expert by any means. Speaking to an immigration consultant who is registered with and licensed by CIC is a good idea just so you can formally have your options laid out for you and you'll know for sure that you aren't missing anything.
Best of luck to the two of you. I genuinely hope it works out, because doing distance is a b*tch.
Thank you very much @shannonextreme yes long distance is AWFUL!! but we’re solid so we will make it work our one way or another. I’m going to see someone Saturday to weigh out my options

That's a great start. Fingers crossed for the two of you! Stay strong
