Need Help.. Spouse dependent visa

Hi all
Due to my passport expiry i got a 25 month PGWP after my studies in Canada. i renewed my passport and got married. I recently extended my Open work permit and i got an extension of 11 months(remaining 3 yr work permit.) until July 2020.

I have few questions to clear before i apply for my wife's dependent visa.
Can apply for my wife now spouse dependent visa now as i have a valid work permit.
Can we go for upfront medical exam for my wife before submitting application?
what is the minimum processing time for spouse dependent visa?
can i go to home country during the application process?

any reply's will help us to fast up the process.

I am not expert but can advice according to my experience.

Yes you can apply for sowp.
Yes you can go upfront medical exam. That's what we did.
I guess processing time varies, it can be different for different individuals. Ours was 1month.
Yes you can go back home on vacations during the process.
But u will need NOC 0 A B job letter and 3 pay slips too.

My work permit approved yesterday and i didnt apply for TRV.
Do i need TRV to apply SOWP?
some of my friends told me that work permit is sufficient to apply for SOWP.

I gathered some of the documents like..
Marriage certificate
Photos
My wife's employment letter and pay stubs(Last 3 months)
My employment letter and pay stubs (last 3 months) under NOC B
Funds 14K $ in canada and 10k $ in india.
My work permit but not TRV.
Application forms (IMM1295E, IMM5257B, IMM5707E)

Is there anything am Missing.

U do not need TRV.
Ur funds are good.
Make sure u arrange all pictures, WhatsApp chat correctly.
I am not sure about application forms.
U can probably check all on cic website.
