Hi everyone. Just need help on my CIC form. I am separated on my spouse Iwant to know if my spouse still need to fill out form? Can I declare legally separated on my status even though we are still maried on papers? We are not anulled yet or devorce but he is living with his new partner now and they have kids already. Can I use this as proof that we are separated. I am aware that I still need to give info about my previous relationship but I want to know if he still need to fill out forms cause There is form that need to fill out by principal and spouse if applicable? Pls guide me.. I will appreciate everyone for advice!
If your ex is in a common law partnership with another person (living together as a couple for more than 12 months), you are not eligible to include your ex on your application.
You should list your status as separated and include a cover letter stating since when you are not living with your ex and since when your ex is living with the new spouse.
