My file was delivered this morning and I just found that there is no longer online payment for CEC, but I included online payment receipt in my application..
CIO no longer take online payments for CEC apps, and as the rules changed and the file was only received today, there is a chance they may not accept it.
There is no mention about which Category I'm paying for on the receipt. I checked the other category which has the same amount of payment since there was no CEC. On CIC website, it says the payment is not tied to the category of application, so, what matters is the amount of payment.
I was following the guideline and there was still "Online Payment" option. Apparently, the guideline was updated after I submitted the application. Even the news release was posted after the submission.
I'm going to call CIC tomorrow to ask if there is anything I can do..but, I guess there is not much I can do about it..
Anyways, thank you all for replying to my question!
There was a brief period of confusion on here, when the "Canadian Experience Class" option had disappeared from the payment page, before the instructions were updated to say that online payments are not accepted (or before anyone realized the instructions had changed).
In this time some people may have resorted to choosing another immigration category with the same fee. I'll be interested to see whether these people get their AORs.

What if the amount on the receipt I paid online is correct, but I selected the wrong service or type of application at the time of payment?
The online payment receipt is not linked to the particular service or application you selected at the time of payment. If the amount of the receipt is still correct, you can submit it with the application.
