Hi, I am planning to apply for a visitor visa for both my parents and my father is an ex navy personnel. He worked in Indian navy for around 13 years and then took an early retirement . Do I need to mention this experience under the Military service section or I can leave it?

You must mention it or that would be misrepresentation.

You cannot just "leave it". Hiding previous 13 years of work is misrepresentation.
