Need Help!Applied Under CEC in 2013 got Accepted 2014 then 2 criminal charges :(

Application Received: November 6, 2013
medical instructions on May 20, 2014
COPR Issued; June 20,2014

First Criminal Charge: July 2014, charges withdrawn December 2014.
RCMP background Check received by CIC Ottawa: March 2015

Medical Sent in May 2015.

Second Domestic Assault charges laid in June 2015. The Charges were withdrawn however there is a peace bond in effect for a year. Am I still eligible to land for my application wiill be withheld until my peace bond time is done.

Plz help!!

If there is no conviction or conditional discharge you should have no problems.

Hi Thanks for ur input. But there is no conviction and I am Aware that I am not disqualified. But wat effect would peace bond have on my application if any?

It shouldn't have any. It would if it was a part of a conditional discharge, because in this case it is a form of probation.

I have been old by CIC that my application will be put on hold until the Bond period expires. Shud I hire an immigration lawyer
