If it was part of your degree, it doesn't count.
If it wasn't part of your degree, it does count.

How can we know if it was part of the degree or not?? It was after graduation and paid, so can we consider it?
If you need that internship to complete your degree, it was a part of it.
If you did the internship after you got your degree, then it wasn't a part of it.
I believe is like that.
It is mentioned in my letter as" house job experience letter" since I'm dentist

If you already had your degree before you began the internship, then I think it probably wasn't part of your degree.
Try thinking of it like this:
If you had not done that internship, would you still be qualified to do the job you're currently doing ?
Was it possible for you to graduate, then immediately get a full-time paid non-internship job ?
If yes, then I think the internship will count as work experience.
But I'm not a dentist, so I don't really know how your qualification program works.
I got my degree before doing that paid one year house job . so istari u mean in my case as dentist it will count as my one year work experience .

So do you think paid internship in engineering done before graduation would count? Thank you!

The internship was not part of the studies, however it was before graduation/license. That is the reason of my confusion.
