I really need an advice regarding sponsorship. my sister has been in Canada for more than 4 years already and she's planning to file an affidavit of support for me. I am again confused if how will I apply, because I'm planning to get married this year or next year. Should I apply:
1) as a single Skilled Worker having been sponsored
2) or apply as a married Skilled Worker being the Principal Candidate (to add if sponsorship is still applicable to a married applicant). Need your expert advice on this.
Also, I just would like to ask, if I am to be sponsored, which is much better, while I'm still single or married already? Does the support also apply to my wife if I'm married? Please help me...
What are you talking about? Is your sister absolutely alone in Canada? No husband, no children, no uncle/aunt? Are you orphans? because only then she can sponsor a brother...
And then , if I understand right she can sponsor you or you and your wife, for sponsoring you and your wiofe she will need more funds (income) than for sponsoring just you alone.

Your sister can't sponsor you. You'll have to apply as a skilled worker on your own merits. You will get extra points for having a relative already living in Canada. But that's the only help your sister can provide.
Thanks for the reply, Im again confused, because, why is it thay she's still offering to sponsor me... what are the options/reasons that she can sponsor me? Any advice?
Ok. If that's the case then I'll just focus on applying as a Skilled Worker (when I'm married already)... Thanks again. I'll just inform her about this. Thanks.
