Near UofT: Large room/1 bed apartment needed for me and my fiancé

Hi all,

My fiancé and I are moving permanently to Canada at the beginning of August. We're coming from the London, UK as I am doing my MBA at UofT. She will be working full time.

We are looking for a large room in a shared house or a 1 bed apartment located near to UofT; however, despite me being Canadian, I have never lived in Canada and consequently have no rental history there, so we are struggling a little.

If anyone can help us out with any suggestions about accommodation that would be much appreciated.

You're unlikely to find a landlord or roommates that would accept a couple for a single room. Just rent a condo, sounds like you have more than enough money.
