do you have any information about there holidays?

actually one of the guy got there visa stamped on 31st of dec 2013, how it is possible if they (cic officers) were on holidays for xmas vacations.

Hello inderdeep228, He applied for re-entry to canada or restoration(already in Canda.). Not from India.

VOs on vacation is not a true story in my case ... my wife is in India ... n we applied her OWP -S from India ... (VFS- chennai ) CIC delhi... she recvd MR on 17th Dec ... done medicals on 19th dec ...recvd approval mail on 30th Dec ( exactly 10 days aftr med submission) ... and we recvd our Passport on Dec 1st (as always it takes 1 day for transit )...

As per CIC website ... ND office is closed only on 25th n 26th .... and weekends ..some of the officers may b on vacation but not all ...

Hey Guys

As my wife was just approved a open work permit visa based on my WP. She only got the passport sticker ( which is just used to travel). Do you think she would be getting the actual WP paper printed when she arrive at the airport in canada ??

If so, What kind of questions they will ask her at that time ?? Can anyone help on this ?

I have applied for ICT from my company on Dec 18th 2013 and received MR on 2nd Jan and completed them on 8th Jan. I have seen in the forum that passport request was also sent along with MR. Is this true as I didn't receive one?

Also, what are the next steps involved and how many days it will take?

Hi Sivasagi, first of all congrats for the progress.
Regarding your question , in a next week or so you should get request for passport and then another week to get authorization letter.

BTW yours is online application or paper. I have also applied on 18th Dec for ICt and is paper application.
