They have given me 30 days

Yes this is true. they usually make a note in the REMARKS section. You can later apply for extension after you renew your passport.

You will not loose those 10 months.

yes you both right .. it is the case for my wife .. i checked with my consultant also .. it seems the extension can be done with in canada . thanks for replies

hi Jignesh... its goin to b a gud news ...nothin to worry at all ....hav heard some of them gettin visa without MR .. some gets passport during MR ... some gettin visa in a week .. some getting in months... so nothin is predictable ... n in ur case... hav heard tht ... only in rare cases visa gets rejectd aft medicals ... fingers crossd .. lets pray .. for a gud news
