When I am reading this forum I just realized that I did not submit enough documents with my wifes OPW-S application which is currently in progress at delhi.
I did not submit her bank statements, Tax papers or assets which would prove her home ties.
Also I did not attach our wedding photographs or phone logs etc.
Do you think these are really important to get the spouse work permit approved ??
Can I add them now for the application which is currently in progress at DELHI office ?? if so how "??? by mail or email.
These are the documents I submitted
wifes documents
-work permit Application
-TRV made outside canada
-chk list
-family info
-original passport
-educational certificates
-job offer letter (which she used to work in india) and also her resignatin letter and experience letter.
- Her previous job 3 month paystubs
-Marriage Certificate
My documents
-work permit copy
-employment letter with my noc code and salary
-passport copy
-visa copy
- 3 month bank statement ( balance showing 8K CDN)
-3 pay stubs
-last years tax assessment
-cover letter( stating that I will cover her for airtickets, housing and food n canada)
Is there any other documents I need to provide ?? Please help me

Do they send passport also with the medical

Yes... You have to do medicals and send the passport back to them through VFS.

I do NOT believe you are allowed to submit documents separately through email or courier.
They will not consider it. I would suggest wait for their decision. It may be in your favour and incase it goes otherwise you can then send new application with Additional documents.
Secondly if Embassy requires additional document they may ask you for it. So dont panic. Dont need to send email or fax. Do not tell them you did not send documents unless they pick up
The documents u mention are supporting documents but not mandatory. They will prove your ties and good to have it. But since you have not added, dont bother. You never know. May be you still get visa.
Let other seniors talk about this too. Just my two cents.

Usually people who have applied through VO Chandigarh are returned passport during medicals. Except them i have not heard people from other states receiving passport. It just medical request that they receive through email. Not sure of the reason though.

Fasuu... most likely you will get the passport back with the medical request if applied through VFS (paper), I have done it twice in the past and both the times I received the passport along with MR.
