I have received the AOR on the 25th of june (before @Deeds189 who got nominated, congrats) , but still haven't got an answer. I am wondering what might be the issue.

Should I contact the Population Growth Division? will it have any adverse effects ? Some of the documents i sent were French and some were in English, maybe this made the processing slower.

There's no such option. You can wait for 28 days, maybe you'll receive the nomination. But in this case you'll have to receive ITA from federals and accept it within that term. Another option is to recreate the profile right away and write them an explanation letter with the new number.
