Our CIC Aor is Feb 14. Does anyone here had issues with the UMI association to your names both for the principal and spouse? According to our GCMS notes, they cannot find my UMI number and they are about to associate it.

I do not see any reason why they shouldn't, since most members from Qatar underwent the same process, visit visa to RP. CIC must be aware with the policies of each country with regards to issuance of PCC. For us LOE is our insurance if all else fails at the same time to void any doubts on our part while sailing for the next 6 ++ months of misery. lol

I am in the same situation as well. got my pcc with RP date, we went to the captain and discussed our case. Fortunately, they changed my PCC to landing date.

i just came from an info session the other day, and yes, with them are some employers conducting interviews to applicants, but it's limited to a number of NOC.
