I am currently a closed work permit holder which expires in 2026 Feb. However, I am getting terminated by my company soon. My wife is on open work permit and has a full time job. We have applied for NBPNP PR August 2024 and still waiting for AOR and application status. Please share if you have any advise on next steps. Any thoughts or suggestion would be really helpful.

I have applied through New Brunswick PNP PR skilled worker Non express entry. And I’m the primary applicant lost job on a closed work permit while my spouse has a full time job in open work permit . Both our permits expire in 2026

You need to find a new employer who is willing to give you a job offer and also willing to support you through all of the steps in applying through this program. You will need to notify the province as soon as you lose your current job.
Yes, it will impact your current PR application. You need to have a job offer to qualify.
You don't qualify for a BOWP at this time. If you want to qualify for a BOWP through CEC, you first have to receive ITA through an Express Entry draw and submit your complete application. Have you already received ITA?

I don't know look for a thread that focuses on this program. However AOR doesn't get you anything. You still need to find a new employer and you also need to let the province know now that you no longer have a job.
To the best of my knowledge your nomination will include an employer restriction since this is a job offer stream. Those who have nominations with employer restrictions do not qualify for BOWPs.
