National Identity Document in IMM Form 0008 - Driver’s License

I recently applied for permanent residence after entering a common-law relationship with my fiance. I put my driver’s license as my national identity document in my IMM 0008. Is that okay? If it’s not what should I do?

Do you mean the provincial driver's license? No. that's not.
If you are from the Philippines, I believe there is a Philippine national ID card.

Yes, I mistakenly thought that my Driver's License from the Philippines was an eligible national ID card. I have already submitted an enquiry to IRCC, I am worried that this will gravely affect my PR application. I do not currently have a national ID card from the Philippines.

If you have the application number, just submit a webform and explain it. IMO as long as you have a valid passport, that would be the main identification for IRCC to use. Many countries/people do not have a national ID card and that's not an issue.
