I was going through the WES website for the ECA and while creating the profile the site asks for the
FirstName, MiddleName & LastName
Then it asks if the education document are on a different name. In my case the LastName is not mentioned in my certificates and Detail Mark Sheets and the name is
FirstName & MiddleName
Does it pose any trouble during conducting the ECA?
Do I need to send any Affidavit to WES stating that both names are for the same person?
Is it ok to leave middle name empty in WES application as it is optional field and enter my Middlename as Lastname there?
This wil make both names same.
ECA is issued in the same name as appearing on certificate and not on the name registered on their website. But you can send a notarized affidavit saying the same person has two different names.
Is it ok to mention my Middlename as Lastname in the WES application form to avoid any unwanted problems as document will be issued to my name mentioned in certificates.
I can provide the affidavit once I apply for EE.
Please confirm if details mentioned in WES forms are used by CIC apart from the ECA validations.

In my case i faced a similar problem.. I went to PTU and had all my dmc's amended. as some had problem with my name and some with my father's name. I took it as a precautional measure.
I think u should not take risk. bcoz they gonna compare each and everything.. put this question in thread " Thank You Legal Falcon.." He will surely answer this.
