Yeah because seriously people at visa offices really test our patience to the extreme. But I wish you all the best. On my side am still waiting, if they don't get back to me until the end of this month I will surely visit their mailbox and patiently wait for their usual late replies
We applied in April 2014. Got passport request in October2014. Since I was not in NBI at the time,there was a delay from my side sending in the passport. However once I couriered the passport it took only 2 weeks for them to stamp it with visa and send it back.
On average if the application is complete it takes 8 months from start to finish.

Just checking in again. So far we have not heard anything back from the embassy. We have sent in return coupon on nov 24th and still no news. I guess patience is the only way we will get through this. To all those that are waiting like we are, try and be as patient as you can. Our time will come too and we will reunited with our loved ones. 2 weeks till Xmas, and I believe in miracles so hang tight my friends..... It's a magical time and all you can do is believe and it will happen. ;D happy eggnog friends!!!
Got passport request(PP) 2 hours back. Already posted the passports through DHL with return prepaid courier. Very happy. Now hoping they don't take time in issuing the visas

Well, on our side no news, upon enquiry we were told our application is in the aye for a final review by VO in early January 2014, so no Christmas miracle but we are still hopefully that the new year will start off well. There's nothing we can do for now other than pray and be hopefully, so let's look forward to an exciting 2015. Cheers to all on this holiday season.

So far on my I have not heard from CIC in a long while but am sure they are working on my file and am hoping for some good news before the end of this month. For now am staying calm and enjoying 2015 as I get ready to join my family in Canada ( Hope High )
