I hope so Checked my courier and it got delivered yesterday!! I am applying for a UK visa which will take about 3 weeks. Dont know whether i should submit my passport or wait!!! Got any advise?
Congra! If all things are ok, i tell you it will take very few days and they will request your passport. When mine changed to "in-process", it took 5 days and they wrote a letter to me requesting the passport. So you are about
Not yet! I have already submitted by passport to the british high commission for my UK visa and my ppt will be back in 10 days time. by then, hopefully they the NVO request for my passport.
I have been a part of this forum for a while now but always gravitated towards the "inland application" posts as that's where I thought I belonged.
I am already in Canada on a TRV, living with my husband after we got married in June 2014 however, I am of Kenyan nationality and hold a Kenyan passport.
Although the outland application processing times for Nairobi is bordering at 21 months after the 44 days of first stage approval, I was advised that the processing times may vary. Is there a spreadsheet for Nairobi outland applicants where I can evaluate what the current "real" processing times are at? or would someone be kind enough to provide some insight on my situation.
Thank you all for your prompt feedback. It is much appreciated.

My wife finally received a CC of the passport request letter by MAIL (not email). I will go and get it today from the post office if it has arrived. It says that my sponsor should pay for the right of sponsorship fee and i should send my passport to Nairobi. If i do not send it in 60 days from the date of the letter, then they will assume I am not interested in moving to their country my passport is currently with the British High Commission, once i get it, i will send my passport to Nairobi for my COPR.
FINALLY THE WAIT IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Visa issued for wifey. Booked flight from Hargeisa, Somaliland to Edmonton, Alberta on the 17th. It's been a long wait. Best of luck to those of you guys who are still in the waiting game.

From what I have been gathering, the timeline of several applicants applying through the Nairobi office is bordering at around 6 months. While many have been delayed due to specific items, I am just wondering if your case had any red flags or you had to provide additional information which prolonged your timeline?
Thank you, and hoping everyone is having a smooth PR process!
It seems like the actual processing times are going faster than the published 20+ months!
I am keeping fingers crossed for 12 months.
