Hello Lineker, We are in the same basket. I sent my passport to Nairobi since 7 weeks ago and my application status still reads "in Process" We have also emailed them but till now no reply.
Congratulation Moll and all the best for the future.
During the 7 months which Nairobi hold your husband's passport did his application status read "in process" or " decision made"?
My husband sent in his passport may 20,2014 and its been almost 9 weeks I'm so worried. I also sent an email no reply and on top of that they haven't updated my status since last year
I am tired too of waiting.
my file was received on 12 February 2014 and forwarded to the Nairobi Visa office on 20th March 2014 and since then no communication. whe i check the ritual application status its just says application received and medical results received.
Is there anybody who did submit his/her application at the same time with me?

I wouldn't worry.. its pretty quiet for a while and then when they work the file it moves pretty fast... we have roughly the same time line and they have already approved my wife.. just have to be patient... most files i have seen are completed within less than 8 months.
hey Guys! we should wait patiently and i believe soon ,we will get to hear from the embassy, silence is killing me and everyday i check my email to see if i have message from the Nairobi.hope to hear from them before the month ends.
i heard from a friend who told me that most embassies in Kenya are scale back due to terrorism but im not sure about this,if it is true, then it could be the reasons why Nairobi is slow some how.
Congratulations Bono1, I am so happy for you. You are finally out of this terrible waiting game. As for the others who have not heard from Nairobi, please hang in there. I am sure you will hear good news soon from Nairobi.
NOTE: If you didn't pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee at the moment you submitted your application please pay it as early as possible, as waiting till they request for it may delay your application process for more than two months.
