Yeah hopefully you get the visa soon! it also depends on the VIsa officer some of them prefer to have the passport in advance and start the security screening, while others do it at the final stage.
About the address , i think this should be in the letter or email you received.
Moreover, it seems the number of days that it is required to submit the passport varies, Lineker reported that they said 90 days , while yours is 60 days.
I am sponsoring my husband to come to Canada. We had applied 3 times for temporary and did not get them. So we took a leap and went for the PR. We sent the application to Mississauga ONT on October 15 2013. We they received and process my sponsorship application by November 28 and it was in Nairobi by December 14. We heard nothing until 2 weeks ago June 12th and they requested his passport and a prepaid DHL package for the documents! They received it on Monday! I can't wait to see him! It's only been 3 weeks but I miss him like crazy! Hoping it goes through by next week so he can be here at the beginning of July!

Thanks. There was no address in the email which is surprising. As well it only said 60 days, not 90 days. I hope this is final stage. I also hope that they don't hold the PP long, as my wife is travelling here in Sept for a visit. Ticket is already booked.

Wow, i like what am reading of this thread because it looks like Nairobi nowadays is processing applications so fast. I was about to get worried for you people when Nairobi unrest of insecurity were coming up recently but that God it seem to be under control and the Embassy is working normally.
All is well with me and am at peace being with my husband, nice weather (summer) and adjusting so well. I logged in to check how everybody is doing. Congratulations to those with Visas and Passport requests and all the best of luck to all still waiting. Time will pass and soon you will be done with the nagging waiting period. Regards!
thanks.. I assume once they ask for your passport that the interview is waived. Otherwise, why ask for it if they have more questions. The email did not say this. Hoping my assumption is correct and that it is waived. Can anyone else confirm if i am correct?
