My wife expired police clearance

Hi there! i need some help. I'm an applicant for permanent residence through LIve-in caregiver program. It was 1 year already since i submit my application inside Canada. Just recently, the CIC send me letter requesting a list of additional requirements including another Police certificate for my wife.My wife worked in kuwait for 6 years but she left kuwait since 2011. Do she still need to get new one, even i've already submit her police clearance from kuwait, when i applied my PR last year? or can i send the same police clearance with follow up letter even it is already expired? Thank you very much...

If you haven't been back to the country since you got the certificate, it is still valid.
