SOP is under an optional document section with the name "Client Information". They are not gonna ask you for one, but you do run a chance of getting refused even after AIP. It is your ultimate decision whether to send it or not, you might get lucky. But most people are getting a fat refusal if it is missing.

Yeah, I did check with my friends that applied regarding this. There wasn't a section for SOP or Client information for me!
