I have heard from one of our relative who is a Canadian citizen and has been there since PAST 45 years that ONE NEEDS TO REVISIT CANADA WITHIN A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS RIGHT AFTER HIS PR CARD IS ISSUED,stated by him according to the revised rules.Or else one may loose PR Status!!!!!!!!!!

Your permanent resident status allows you to live in Canada, but there is also a time limit on how long you can live outside the country. To keep your status as a permanent resident, you must live in Canada for at least two years within a five-year period.
R the job opportunities good in Brampton.What I know there r more opportunities in Toronto-Downtown.There r lot of assistance programs in Canada ,u can do it at free of cost or sometimes at minimum cost.
How is the weather in October / November in Toronto, and how about staying near airport, ways to commute public transportation to downtown. Seniors please advise, as I am very confused !!
