Hey guys, for anyone living in Ottawa that comes across this post, they still accept walk-in on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 10am to 2pm. I just received their reply 30 minutes after asking them via IRCC webform
Hello,
1. when you scheduled the appointment, did they provide you any choice?
2. in which IRCC office did you schedule the appointment?
3. On the reply email or confirming email, did they mention what are the documents you need to bring with you?
I wrote to IRCC asking for an appointment to complete my landing process. Although the automated email said that I should expect a response within 30 business days, but I got a reply in 2 days and the appointment is scheduled for next week.
After reading the experiences of people flagpoling at the border, I thought this was best and easiest way to complete the process and unlike popular belief, the waiting time to get an appointment is negligible.

Hello All,
I live in Kitchener, ON. I tried to do my landing at the Lewiston Bridge border after visiting family in the States on Monday, November 26, 2018. Unfortunately, even though there were about 10 agents available and I was the only client in there, they would not do my landing that day because they said they only do it there Tuesday-Thursday beginning at 8:00am.
I was quite disappointed because I was really looking forward to becoming a PR that day and I planned a lot around it including taking a day off of work.
I emailed the IRCC for an appointment as I was told to do on Monday, November 26th and have not gotten an email back yet.
Does anyone know if the Hamilton or Kitchener IRCC offices allow walk-ins at any time? I am not able to find a number or email for the location specifically.
Thank you all and good luck to you as well.
Another Question in general: Do we (CEC Inland Applicants) need some document for the goods to follow? This generally done by outland applicants. I am asking, in case if I am bringing some valuable goods during my future trips from home country to Canada.
If anyone has done this, please share your experience and the process.
Hello IndoKori,
Unfortunately I have no update at this time. Still waiting to get an email from IRCC with appointment. I am not aware of any walk-in availability in the area. I tried calling the IRCC a couple times but am never able to actually speak to someone.
How about you? Are you waiting for a reply with an appointment as well?

Just completed my landing through Ottawa IRCC. Reached there around 8:00., the person in the front desk took our COPR, and we were called for the interview in about 10 minutes. The interview was for about 7 minutes. Really smooth process. Now imagine doing the flagpoling!

Hello! I am happy for you. Congratulations!
-Are you from the Ottawa area or did you drive there specifically for your interview?
-Did you have a scheduled interview or did you do a walk-in?

I live in Ottawa. It was a walk-in. Walk-ins are on second and fourth Tuesdays of a month. Also, you don't have to be from Ottawa to do the walk-in. If don't live in Ottawa, you can drive in, the process is quick and easy.

To answer all your questions:
1. No, guess coz my address was of Toronto, they just asked me to come to IRCC local office in Etobicoke.
2. You mail at the address provided above.
3. Yes!
