Pippin, even I was wondering about the 25 kg per carry on bags! = as i replied to PIPPIN's reply, the hand luggage i was carrying had wheels so that i can drag them rather than carrying those....but yes, u r right.....it's a chance that i took and i think if everyone keep on doin' this, the airlines will know for sure but i think not many people were cheeky like me
sorry for the delay in reply as i was busy with so many things
in my view, Canada is much broader and peaceful. people who live in Canada (both immigrants and citizens) are much more friendlier than those in UK. even for myself, when i was staying in UK, i was more aggressive and unkind. now i am in Canada, and i can feel that the atmosphere is much relaxed and not that fast paced like UK. UK and Canada both r good place to live in. but life in UK is more faster than that of Canada. just my thoughts

What difference you have experienced so far in Canada compared to UK.
CANADA-- HUMANITARIAN AND COMPASSIONATE COUNTRY WITH PEACEFUL AND RELAXED LIFESTYLE.
UK--- CAPITALIST COUNTRY WITH VERY FAST LIFE. ( IN UK PEOPLE ONLY RUN AFTER MONEY, JUST LIKE INDIA )
IF U WANT TO ONLY EARN MONEY AND MAKE A BIG FORTUNE, UK IS THE BEST PLACE ON THIS PLANET.
IF U WANT TO HAVE A PEACEFUL AND RELAXED QUALITY OF LIFE,WITH JUST ENOUGH MONEY TO LEAD A DECENT LIFE, THEN CANADA ROCKS.
THIS IS JUST MY VIEW
REGARDS

whoever leaving UK and going outside the EU to declare any cash taken by a single person to be declared in a form if carrying more than 10,000 Euro
Hi Shibleed
1) What if one takes a draft or more than Euro 10,000 then also you need to disclose?= YES, u should as cash, bank draft, traveler's chqs all r treated as cash for HMRC
2) If one opens an account in say a bank in UK (with branches in Canada) and transfers money from UK to Canadian branch is that ok and acceptable as Proof of funds at Canadian immigration control.?= i am not sure if that's acceptable or not.
u r welcome shibleebd
regarding the 25 kg per carryon bags, If I happen to come across such situation,I am going to follow ur idea
All the Best.

All of equal strength, but the most important thing is your level of French. If French is your first language i will recommend Quebec for you, but if it is not then you can go for federal , if your job is on the 29 list. I had some friends who went to Quebec, but realized their French is not very good and had to move to general Canada.
But in times of communication and time processing Quebec is the best. my friends took just one year to get their visas and also financially Quebec is a little expensive.
