hi guys , below is my ielts score
Listening: 8.5
Reading: 9.0
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 5.5>>>
Overall: 7.5
im going for pg course in may 2013.My agent is saying that i shouldn't worry abt my speaking score. What u guys say?
thanks
i guess he is right ur overall score is good, and about speaking 5.5 is min & and u have that sorted..so do not worry.....
But i read somewhere that 6 in each module is mandatory for PG courses.
sir what u r saying that may be the requirement of some colleges ....for example some may have a requirements for a specific course of overall 6.5 with 6 in each...please avoid these colleges bcoz they will not issue u offer letter even.... but embassy is the one which should matter and its requirement is overall 6 with minimum 5.5 so after taking admission ....u can apply u will not get refusal bcoz of speaking score....k..
if u have low score in 1 module, you can email or talk to the program advisor/coordinator, tell him/her about ur scores, maybe he/she can help u get into the program even with 1 low score.
My college(NAIT) issues offer letter without ielts score. So i think its ok from their side.
so thats all right.....now do not worry about ielts ...worry about other things in u file & concentrate on them ............
PG is a college course..you just need 6.0 overall.
universities require 6.0 each.
work on your speaking i would suggest..will help in future.
Thanks guys..My speaking is ok this was my third ielts exam , never scored below 6.5 in speaking. Will keep posting ,,, my case is a bit complicated.
Someone might find it useful.Appreciate ur help guys.
You are fine. There is no problem with your speaking score.
