my address on e-cas plz help!!!!!!!!!

Just to add to the weird factor, my husband's address (sponsor) was never listed becuase we were just approved to sponsor a few days ago. Now it's there. ???? Weird!

my address on ecas is not there yet however on receipt # my address is wrong totally confusing and i dont know what to do i corrected that error however it says it will not reflect correct address before 15 days,
we send an inquiry no respond yet since last week

Hello All,

I have been a keen guest for a couple of months, and thought it was about time to join.

My family and I am applying for permanent residency. We live in Wales, UK.

I received my 2nd stage AOR from London, UK on the 30th March 2010. For quite a few months my "File Number" and my personal details were not recognised. When I entered "Wales" as my birth place it would not work. After somebody on another forum suggested to enter England as my birth place, it logged in and showed "received by visa office".

A strange thing then happened when I tryed to check my status last week. The ecas system would not accept England as my birth place. It now accepts Wales ( which is my correct birth place). My status however, still shows "received by visa office".

Some people say they can see their mailing address on ECAS again. Mine is not there BUT I was emailed POVL today! Good luck to everyone!

i received mail from e-cas and i checked my file and i found my address again

i think now that is normal and not mean anything just update

mariah, POVL is a Promise Of Visa Letter. Basically, it's a letter/e-mail where the Embassy says they are ready to issue you a visa.

I am sorry to hear that, but it if makes you feel better I have been going through this for nearly 2 years. We had to endure an appeal. I can understand how you feel. Hugs
