every day when i go to my E-CAS i saw my home address now i check my eCAS and i am not found my address ,isthat mean any thing or what plz helppppp???????????
Mine is the same..I got an email from Matthew Carroll this morning saying that there was an abnormally high amount of activity on E-CAS Tracker..turns out CIC is removing all the mailing addresses...I wonder if somebody hit a wrong button somewhere??
same thing happened to me, but here's an explanation from Matthew in the other forum, hope it's alright to post it here
Hi everyone
There was a strange flurry of activity on the e-CAS Tracker this morning, far far more than usual, so I took a closer look at what was going on.
It looks like CIC has removed the address info from a huge number of people's e-CAS files. Of the 389 files currently being tracked where e-CAS is already working, more than 1 in 7 had their address info removed. There's no reason to think this would be limited to those using the tracker.
I have no idea why this is. The only time I've known this sort of change to occur has been the other way round, when someone sends in an address change, and then later it appears on e-CAS. I've never noticed addresses disappearing like this, certainly not on this scale.
Whether or not you use the tracker, I'd suggest taking a look at your e-CAS, and if it used to show your address but doesn't any more, you may want to phone the CIC call centre to find out why, and make sure they still have your correct address info on file.
Thanks missmyhoney for the explanation,
it is verly weierd that not only today but for the last week or so every day i see a different address on my ecas / 3 different addresses so far between myself my spouse and my lawyer and today there is no address which is strange
i wonder if that means someone is working on our files
I hope so and good luck everyone
I have sent my passport to London already and a self addressed envelope was required to mail it back to me with the "welcome to Canada" pack so I am sure it wont bother my case..I hope!
It might have something to do with technical issues... if the Embassy doesn't contact me in a week or so I'm going to e-mail them, just to make sure.
Let's all hope it's a good sign
